Donate and make a difference in a keiki’s life.
We’re excited to announce that we have secured a fiscal sponsor with a non-profit organization, Aranya Solutions, which is allowing us to officially open our keiki sponsorship program!
This has been a work in progress since we opened, and we are so excited for this next step.
We can’t do it on our own though. We need your help, our community members, to make this dream come alive.
Dance isn’t just about learning steps, keiki learn important life lessons through their classes. They learn perseverance, the joys of accomplishing a goal, working as a team, commitment, hard work, and so much more.
How can you help you ask? We have 2 donation options now available; direct donation to the studio, or tax deductible donation option now available through our fiscal non-profit sponsor, Aranya Solutions.
You can now make TAX-DEDUCTIBLE donations to help local keiki participate in dance!
Here are just a few examples of what your support can make possible:
$100 — Costume & performance fees for 1 student in 1 class
$250 — Annual class equipment & props for 1 program
$500 — Half-season tuition for 1 student (Aug–Dec)
$1,000 — Full-season tuition for 1 student(Aug’26-May’27)
Please note: Donations made through Aranya Solutions have a $100 minimum. Direct donations of less than $100 can be made directly to KDC; direct donations are NOT tax deductible.

So many families on Maui are feeling the tight effects of today’s economy. When families have to choose between groceries or dance, we can step in and help.
Dance provides a healthy outlet to help kids process the world around them. Keiki are taught hard work, dedication, commitment, and more through our program.
By donating, you are helping to provide that safe space for kids in our community.
They are learning so much more than just dance steps, they are learning life skills they will need to be successful in life.

There’s no end date when it comes to helping keiki. We have a year long enrollment for our dance season, and we also run school break camps. This is a crucial time for a lot of families because the parents still have to work but can’t always afford to sign the kids up for camp.
Sponsored camp positions not only means that keiki have somewhere safe, engaging, and educational to go during breaks, it means families don’t have to potentially lose income because they have to take time off of work.
Currently, our sponsorship applications is waitlisted; meaning we have more families needing help than we have donors. The need is aways there.

We are so grateful to be fiscally sponsored by Aranya Solutions, a nonprofit organization. By choosing to donate through Aranya Solutions, you are able to get a tax deductible receipt, which everyone loves when it comes to tax time! Aranya Solutions does have wonderful staff that they have to pay to process all the paperwork, so a small fee is deducted out of your donation to cover their time. Donations through Aranya Solutions will assist with the keiki sponsorship program directly.
If you don’t need a tax deductible receipt and just want to donate directly to the Kihei Dance Connection studio and bypass the paperwork, then Direct Donation is a great option for you. Direct Donations are less restricted when it comes to distribution; meaning the funds will assist KDC in covering any studio related costs: covering admin for grow-up classes/workshops, marketing team, operational costs, events staff, and so much more.
